A really good article here. It suggests that putting the entire newspaper online may be hurting more than it’s helping. I completely agree with most of the problems Howard Sees here, although I’m not entirely sure the solution (not putting the whole paper online) is the answer. That having been said, I do think the nightly dumps that most newspapers (including those I used to work for) do is a silly idea that doesn’t make a lot of sense in our day and age. I continue to loves me some WebKit. These guys are the designer’s best friend — they are really focusing on implementing the parts of CSS that really matter to designers, which is awesome (unless, of course, you’re a JavaScript programmer). :) Visit site »
