This is so fucking awesome. For those who aren’t from the Midwest, let me set this up for you: There is a bitter, bitter rivalry between these two schools, and even the two states themselves. People from kansas generally don’t like Missourians, and vice-versa. It goes all the way back to the civil war, wherein Kansas was a free state and Missouri was not. Both schools are traditional basketball powerhouses and generally bad in football. This year, Kansas is undefeated and Mizzou has just one loss — and they play each other this weekend at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City (basically, half way between the two schools). This is set to be one of the most awesome college football matchups in a long, long time. It’s pretty rare that this bitter of rivals are playing with the stakes so high. I’m so stoked. Visit site »
