Actually not just for getting Linux on your Wii — there’s a lot of general Wii hacking goodness there, as well. Thanks, JKM. Visit site »

I’ve not downloaded and tried it yet, but the video makes it look darn good. Almost certainly the best from-your-couch web browsing experience available, anyway. Go to the Wii Shop channel and then Wii Ware to get yours. Visit site »

I’m a bit surprised to see Nintendo play this so straight. I figured they’d do it in typical cutsey fashion, with your Mii acting as the talking head or something. James Surowiecki, author of “The Wisdom of Crowds,” discusses Nintendo’s success with the Wii. In many ways, the history of Nintendo and the history of Apple seem parallel to me. They were both king of the hill at one time. They both got trounced by a bigger competitor. The both made it worse by trying to compete directly with said competitor. And then, they both learned that focusing on core competencies and not worrying about ruling the world was the path to the most mindshare and profit. Visit site »

Lawrence.com’s review of the new Zelda game got dugg, and the haters come out of the wood work to bash on lcom. It’s quite a hilarious thread. Digg may look different than Slashdot, but the quality of commentary is ever bit as lame. Visit site »
