There’s no question in my mind that piracy exists, that people around the world are enjoying creative content without paying for it, and even that some criminals are profiting by redistributing it. But is there actual economic harm?” Exactly. Piracy is real, but the economic impact of it is up for serious debate.

Home Values | The Seattle Times
A nicely-done piece by The Times showing home values for Seattle’s neighborhoods and suburbs. Predictably, most of the neighborhoods I’d like to buy in (Fremont, Ballard, Wallingford, Queen Anne, Lower Queen Anne, Lake Union, and Belltown) are among the most expensive. Figures. I guess that’s what I get for being unwilling to move from central Seattle.
