I’m excited to be speaking at the inaugural Delve workshops in Brooklyn August 5th and 6th. DelveUI is a 2-Day Masterclass on Designing (Web) User Interfaces. Think of Delve as the antidote to the bloated conference experience — small, affordable, and frequent versus overwhelming, occasional, and costly. Each Delve consists of a series of two-hour masterclasses. That’s just long enough to get deep into a topic and just short enough to avoid people falling asleep at their desks.
This first Delve has a pretty killer lineup of speakers, including Lou Rosenfeld, Jina Bolton, Scott Jehl, Andrew Maier, Jamey Kosoy, Jason Santa Maria, Ryan Stewart, Theresa Neil, Robert Hoekman, Joshua Porter, Anders Ramsay, and Todd Zaki Warfel.
You can register on the Delve site. Hope to see you there!

Hey Jeff
I’m mostly a print designer who’s done some web stuff and aiming to get going with CS4 and web design. I liked what I read (in the Delve/NYC post)about your perspective on type and the web, and would like to get to a function like the Delve/NYC August event. I’m not able to get to the city until late August, Sept. Oct. Do you know of any similar events in that time period?
Thank for any thoughts…
