The Last Thing You See

I took this with an underwater disposable camera in False Bay, near Gansbaai, South Africa.

False Bay has the highest concentration of white sharks in the world. This was a female, roughly 14 feet long.

!!!!! Where were you at the time? In a cage, or swimming free?

Hi, I’m an admin for a group called The Explore Machine, and we’d love to have your photo added to the group. OMG! Fantastic shot but I think I’d have to just lower the camera down on a cable or something! You certainly have guts!

I would love to be that close to a Great White! I have some nice shots of Galapagos Sharks when I was in Hawaii! We were in a cage but I still got to feed and pet the sharks! I would have loved to swim with them!!!
