I went out with Sissi, Indriði, Steinar Hugi and his buddy Halli to Þingvellir. It was absolutely FREEZING, I don´t think I have ever been outdoors during night in such cold, it was about -25 degrees celcius and also blowing cold wind on top of that. It was totally worth it though, when we got there the borealis were as strong as I have ever seen them and put on quite a show.
I really like this picture simply because the “hole” in the borealis looks like a Raven, at least to me.
Got a couple more good ones from that night wich I´ll post soon.

Woooooah! I usually don’t like Borealis shots much, but this one blows me away. The shape in there does look like a raven, or some other magnificent bird. Amazing.004 // Guðm_Ari // 02.10.2008 // 4:38 PM
Miðað við iso og hraða..þá get ég ekki betur séð en að þú hafir fengið æðislegt ljósashow þarna :D Enda er þessi mynd hreint út sagt frábær :D
