I know what I did wrong, here. I still had my camera in aperture priority mode and set wide open (f/1.4) in bright sunlight. Whoops. :)
That having been said, I do need to learn to use Photoshop better as a photo editing tool. I’ve used it as a graphic design tools for years, but a lot of the photo editing features are a mystery to me.
