Home office in the new apartment

I really love our new home office. It’s so much more comforatble than our old one. Makes those working from home days much more plesant!

Tonight I took the time to properly organize my cord clutter. Go ahead, try to find a cord (okay, you can probably find the one power cord that runs the whole desk).!

Jaco likes it, too.

    Ethan: This $13 gadget from IKEA was the real hero of the cord-clearing project. That, and several twist ties. I put everything in that cord try, from my power strip to power supply blocks to a small external hard drive. Works great. In the end, there are only three cables that leave the desk: the one power cord from the power strip, the USB cord going over to the printer, and the cord that goes to my subwoofer, since that thing pretty much has to sit on the floor. LOVE the new site, BTW. :)

    +1 on the Signum, as well. That and a cool coupla cord channels (self-adhesive) from Fry’s here in LA that match the color of the walls is a great addition to that. Great for baby-proofing, too! ;)
