The game was a bit of a bummer, with #3 ranked Kansas losing to unranked Oral Roberts, but it’s still always fun to go to the Fieldhouse. Feels like the Lambeau Field of college basketball, to me.
Free tix from work don’t hurt, either. :)

Um, so much for being No. 1 in the land.002 // Jeff Croft // 11.15.2006 // 11:14 PM
Ehh, who knows. Rankings mean very little this early in the season. It’s not as if some team is going to go undefeated. Everyone will lose somewhere along the line. I dunno if Kansas is as good as the hype would suggest, but I do know that losing one game very early in the season doesn’t make a final four bid any less attainable. Personally, I hope it gives them a kick in the ass, because they looked totally flat tonight. They definitely looked like they knew they would win this one and didn’t have to give full effort to get it done.003 // robertjosiah // 11.15.2006 // 11:23 PM
Yeah, you’re right…but I don’t really care about the rankings. I’ve just never believed losing is good for a team. Winning is good for a team. I’m tired of seeing this team not bring the stuff, even after all the losses that are supposed to wake them up.004 // Jeff Croft // 11.15.2006 // 11:46 PM
I also don’t really believe losing is good for a team. Losing sucks, any way you look at it. But, a loss is not the end of the world in this case (like it might be in football) — and once in a while, they really do wake them up (but I still believe it would be better to win them all). :)005 // Laura B // 11.15.2006 // 11:54 PM

Did I hear free tickets???007 // Jeff Goseland // 11.20.2006 // 8:48 PM
What section is that? I’m looking at getting ticket for the OSU (Big 12 Opener) but I can’t decide if the extra $40 or $100 dollars is worth it to get further in.008 // Jeff Croft // 11.20.2006 // 9:10 PM
Seems like it was Section 8, row 23 or something. Not positive on that, but Section 8 sounds right.009 // postneo // 11.24.2006 // 2:37 AM
Honestly there’s not a bad seat in the house but there’s nothing wrong with being closer either…
