Holy crap. Apple sold over 700,000 iPhones over the weekend — more than the near-ubiquitous RAZR sold in it’s first month. That’s insane. Analysts are now predicting the iPhone will be the most successful product launch in the history of electronics. Insane, I say.

This definitely means the hype was worth it — but I’ll hold my excitement until I see what sort of stickiness this sales rate exhibits.
Hopefully, they continue to sell even half as well as iPods are selling. Unfortunately, I think the minute an iPhone without the phone is introduced (next gen iPod) some of the sales are going to cool down.
But, if they can even keep a small amount of the momentum — jeebus — that’s some stellar revenue.
And: Where are all the naysayers, anyway?
For what it’s worth: I’m on iPhone #2. Battery is night and day better.
