Thanks for posting these, Jeff. You touch on a lot of things I’ve been moving toward or doing without really being able to articulate why — other than I recognize good design when I see it, I try to follow work being done by good designers, and it just “looks nicer” to me. None of these things are particularly helpful when you have to explain your own decisions to other people, though. So it really helped me to see a great designer give specific reasoning behind those choices.
