Surprisingly accurate fugal theory at play here, with a hilarious contrapuntal performance of the spoken instructions, as well. But let’s be honest here: this is really probably a fughetta, not a fugue. And I would have really liked to have a heard a nice pedal on the dominant as we come to the rousing coda. That one minor criticism aside, it’s entertaining from the first exposition of its subject, through it’s slightly-altered counter subject, and all the way to the final cadence. Don’t miss it.
