seems it’s just looking at the ip and and checking that against a geographical database of some sort, so really not that impressive since my accent isn’t even close to “The Northeast” even though i live in the Northeast. lame
Jon, sorry, but that’s definitely not true. I had three different people take it at my house — all using the same IP — and all three get different results. It’s clearly based on your answers to the quiz questions, and not to your geographical location (which can’t even be accurately tracked by IP address).
