A couple months ago, one of the first couple times I hung out with my latest BFF @alixito, we jointly had the brilliant idea to do a week-long tour of Seattle plethora karaoke bars, hitting one each night for seven straight days. Today, Alix and I announce the first edition of Seattle Karaoke Tour, taking place from June 13th through 20th. Which is eight days, not seven. Because we’re badasses, that’s why. Sure, it’s no Whuffaoke (which you should totally try to attend, as well!), but we think it’ll be fun — not to mention challenging. Who has the stamina to make it eight straight nights? I guarantee I do. I believe Alix does. Do you? If so, we’ll see you at the following venues:

Saturday, June 13th
Boxcar Alehouse Magnolia/Interbay
Sunday, June 14th (My birthday!)
Hula Hula Lower Queen Anne
Monday, June 15th
Little Red Hen Green Lake
Tuesday, June 16th
Purr Capitol Hill
Wednesday, June 17th
Kate’s Pub Wallingford
Thursday, June 18th
The Rickshaw Greenwood
Friday, June 19th
The Beacon Pub Beacon Hill
Saturday, June 20th
Boxcar Alehouse Magnolia/Interbay

I’ll try to flesh this page out with more details (times, addresses, etc.) over the next few days.

Come as many nights as you like! Let’s spread the karaoke love across Seattle!

I am so there with my Emergen-Cs for energy enhancement and I’m gonna try to have one suicide song per nite!

You know I will be there. Every night. Perhaps even in costume.

It’s like that, and that’s the way it is.

Great idea! Just a reminder that there will be a party after the first day of barcamp seattle, June 13. For Friday night, I’d like to suggest Hula Hula (http://www.yelp.com/biz/hula-hula-seattle) in lower Queen Anne to replace the Beacon Pub. I think you’ll get a better turnout if people don’t have to trek down to beacon hill.

I wish you luck though in your pursuit of karaoke joyousness.

I’m there for 5! Tue thru Sat. Boxcar on June 20th will be a blow-out for sure! I have a new song prepared for it (the original is a female vocalist, which seems to be my recent M.O., covering chick stuff.)

Stamina would definitely be an issue, but you might also need a replacement voicebox by night 5 or 6.
