As regular readers have no doubt noticed, I am a listing partner for Cameron Moll’s terrific Authentic Jobs. In the interest of transparency, that means I put AJ job listings on this site, and also sit on a sort of board of advisors for Authentic Jobs, in exchange for a small cut of the profit.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Authentic Jobs is the original web designing and development job listing site. Employers can post freelance and full-time opportunities in a place much of the world’s best web talent combs. It’s almost certainly the best way to get your job opening noticed by really great web people.

For the rest of the month, Cameron has given me permission to offer JeffCroft.com readers a 30% discount on job listings (offer expires October 31st). Just use promotion code CROFT31 when you place your listing and you’ll get 30% off your full-time or freelance listing. Authentic Jobs offers a full money-back guarentee (even when using the promo code), so there’s no risk to you. If you aren’t able to find the caliber of talent you were looking for, just ask for your money back.

Also on the topic of Authentic Jobs: you can get job updates via Twitter, if you prefer. Just follow authenticjobs.

I think it sucks that you’re posting commercials like these to your blog. I don’t want to know about this stuff.

David: No one’s forcing you to subscribe. Feel free to ignore any content you don’t want. You won’t hurt my feelings one bit.

Authentic Jobs is OK if you’re looking for someone to work remotely , but there’s nowhere I’ve found that has a steady supply of good, talented developers.
