As regular readers have no doubt noticed, I am a listing partner for Cameron Moll’s terrific Authentic Jobs. In the interest of transparency, that means I put AJ job listings on this site, and also sit on a sort of board of advisors for Authentic Jobs, in exchange for a small cut of the profit.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Authentic Jobs is the original web designing and development job listing site. Employers can post freelance and full-time opportunities in a place much of the world’s best web talent combs. It’s almost certainly the best way to get your job opening noticed by really great web people.
To start the new year off right, Cameron has given me permission to offer JeffCroft.com readers a 50% discount on job listings (offer expires January 15th). Just use promotion code CROFT08 when you place your listing and you’ll get your full-time posting for $125 and your freelance posting for just $37.50.
Also on the topic of Authentic Jobs: you can now get job updates via Twitter, if you prefer. Just follow authenticjobs.

Did you ever notice how Blue Flavor shares the same initials as its egotastic founder?

Jake, that’s right. It was between Nitpicking Fanatics, Deadly Killer Robots or Blue Flavor. ;)

Websites like this are really brilliant – they give freelancers a wonderful opportunity to get some really good and interesting work done, attain global clients, and gain experience if they need it. These kind of websites launched my freelance career, and they continue to play an extensive part in my monthly workload. So, I take my hat off to the guys at Authentic Jobs – they’re making the industry work for both freelancers and employers.

Hi guys,
I am presently working as a Virtual Assistant. I used to be a Chemistry Instructor but shifted my career perspective a little and found out that the Internet world is far more colorful than the world of teaching Chemistry. Anyway, I followed you on Twitter. I hope to hear and to learn more Tweets from you there.
Regards, John
